List Of All Committees

2017-18 Officers:

President and Co-President – prepare meeting agendas, preside over monthly meetings, plan yearly activities/events with officers and volunteer chairs. Communicate with Dr. Stuber and officers throughout the year. (Up to two year term)

Vice-President – assists President or Co-Presidents. Two-year term. First year as Vice President, second year as President or Co-President

Treasurer – prepares annual budget, manages booster accounts, writes checks as needed, prepares monthly budget updates for booster meeting (Up to two year term)

Secretary – records booster meeting minutes, provide minutes to officers for distribution via website (One year term)


2017-18 Committee Chair/Co-Chair Descriptions:

Spring Trip – plans, executes all details of Spring trip. Attends as a chaperone. (Up to two year term)

Game Chaperone Coordinator – coordinates chaperones to help carry coolers and equipment to home and away football games. Need more men to help with the heavy lifting! (Up to two year term) Timing: August – Mid Sept., Late March – Early June

Volunteer Coordinator (HT VIC, Jones Racing, Chick Fil A) – Coordinates volunteer signup using SignUp Genius. Tracks volunteer hours by event, collects funds raised and coordinates deposits with treasurer (up to two year term) Timing: Back to School, Fall, Spring

Fruit Sales – plans and coordinates annual fruit sale. Prepares sales packets, online orders for students. Coordinates delivery and fruit pick up (Up to two year term). Timing : Oct. – Dec

Attractions Books – Coordinates annual sales with Attractions Book representative (before school starts). Prepares sales packets, online order forms. Distributes at start of school. Coordinates delivery of books and distribution to students. Timing: Aug. – Nov

Webmaster in training – work with Webmaster to update new website, calendar, post photos and video. New website to be completed during summer of 2017. Timing: August – May

Marching Band Uniforms – Need at least 2 people to coordinate fittings (during band camp), shoe orders, distribute polo shirts, collet cleaning fees at distribution of uniforms (early Sept.), manage spreadsheet, help with uniforms at first few home football games, collect/pack uniforms for spring trip, collect uniforms (late spring), coordinate with dry cleaner for pickup and delivery, returning cleaned uniforms to closets for next marching season (June)

Grade level parent ambassadors, act as liason between band parents and boosters, encourage participation in booster activities/fundraising. Welcome new families/students to band family. Timing: Band camp orientation, back to school, football games, attendance at monthly booster meetings/activities

Student Accounts Coordinator – Track student funds earned through fundraiser events. Provide monthly updates to Treasurer and Trip Coordinator.
